HIKETEIA - Wonder Woman VS Batman (master sculpture)

Loosely based on the related Wonder Woman comic cover by J.G.Jones, from the graphic novel by Greg Rucka.



The Hiketeia is an ancient Greek ritual where a supplicant places himself under the protection of another person. He must be protected at all costs, or everyone involved will suffer the full wrath of the Furies. Batman "Noir"

The following artwork by Hethe Srodawa is one of my preferred Batman rendition, I love the mix between the "noir" look and the Frank Miller style, not to mention some "vampiresque" details as the pointed gloves/boots.



Here the related sketch I just started, made of Magisculp and in 1/5 scale as usual.

Vampirella Ultimates style (master sculpture)

José "Pepe" Gonzalez (1939-2009) is considered one of the best Vampirella artists and that one is is probably his most famous Vampirella rendition.



To be honest Vampirella isn't one of my favorite characters but when I saw this stunning artwork by Joe Quinones I decided to give it a try.



The Quinones Vampirella is for sure the most original variation I ever seen, love her "Ultimates" look. Here the original Vampirella: ReVAMPED post on Quinones blog.
